The semester is about 2/3 done already which is just really amazing.  It has been going by so very fast and I have had so much more work to do this time around.  Makes sense since it's my last year.  Not as much difficult work, but lots of time consuming easy work, which is both good and bad since I know what to do but get frustrated by how long it ends up taking.

Free time has been kinda limited but I have been splitting it between meany things.  Early in the semester nights and weekends were spent catching up on Breaking Bad, painting/converting minis(some which are in my gallery), and disc golf.  Now I have shifted more to reading and watching other television shows over the course of the week.  Dexter, Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and some others, just an hour or so of tv per day.  It's been getting dark earlier and as such I have not been able to do much frolf.  However Oct. 9th was the area's Ace Race day.  Everyone who signed up gets 2 prototype discs and we get one throw to try and sink a hole in one.  I ended up winning with my one ace and one metal hit.  Got a big bag of discs but no cash since I did not enter the pool. Never thought I would win.  That went to some 12 year old kid who did not seem anywhere near excited as his dad about "his ace."  Virtually no table-top play has taken place since one of our group's members got an office job at 5-10pm...  Oh well.

The Sabres and the rest of the NHL are in full tilt which is also great. Love me some ice hockey.  They're doing okay, but their play is still kinda hit or miss, thought tending towards the good.  This is good news for me.

This week almost all of my free time has been dedicated to Battlefield 3.  You may have heard about it.  I have been a fan of this series since BF2 for the PC.  The tanks, the planes, the choppers, massive maps.  All awesome.  The campaign is alright but it's obviously a game built for online play.  I have relearned to pilot the aircraft and have been trying to wreak some havoc from the skies.  Got the controls down, but still working on getting actual kills.  Everyone is too quick to bail out and I end up with only "vehicle disabled" points.  Anyone with BF3 and XBL can hit me up as GuildMasterSven is the name.  Need a chopper gunner.

Winter is coming, and that means hunting season and even less free time.  I will try to get some of my new heavy weapons guys painted as well as finish my murder servitors.  Still have plenty to work on so I won't be buying for awhile.

The BF3 storyline is worse than MW2, but it was always a multiplayer franchise. I'll have to wait for it to come out on steam (otherwise I'll never get it) to play multiplayer.
