Haven't been posting all too much, but I have been sketching a bit and slowly lowering the number of models left to be painted. My brother's birthday is Friday the 13th, he still hasn't told me what the hell he would like, so I suppose, for now, he gets nothing.
I am told to expect a squad of Kriegsmen for Christmas, this I am anticipating quite a bit.
I'm sure they'll be a great set to paint up.
Should be receiving my copy of "Blood Pact," "Cadian Blood," and the "Liber Chaotica" sometime soon. Haven't been reading a lot lately except for what is required from school, so this should be a good time for reading.
Got my copy of Modern Warfare 2 yesterday. Played through the campaign on "Hardened," got quite frustrated at a few bits but overall it was great. The first few missions in Afghanistan had quite a "Generation Kill" feel to them, what with the tin plated Humvees and all. Infinity Ward likes to kill off a lot of people, and bring some back. The AI is much improved from the previous games. The enemy will actually try and flank you and change position. The parts in slow motion are quite fun, the better you're doing the longer that lasts. Online play is also much better. I can actually tolerate playing standard, non-hardcore, MP matches. It no longer requires an exorbitant amount of bullets to kill a foe. It's good too that my clan is back together for the release. All people I know IRL, much more fun that way. Not that there's anything wrong with you Internet people, just more cooperation amongst people you will have to see sometime.
As for school, it's school. Unremitting, it moves ever onward, whether or not you are right behind it. All registered for next semester and pretty ready for the intra-semester break. Though, that break is quite a bit shorter than it has been in past years.
Hunting season begins next week here in NY. So for any fellow hunters, Waidmanns Heil.
Stay frosty you lot. I'm Oscar Mike for now.
